3. Smoking Cigarettes
Everyone knows the dangers of smoking cigarettes. There are numerous studies that link smoking tobacco problems to many different health issues such as lung cancer, heart disease, breathing disorders, and more. Smoking cigarettes can also cause a person to develop stable angina.
This is because when a person smokes it constricts the blood vessels. This includes the blood vessels that lead from the heart and to the heart. This can interfere with the ability of the heart to get enough oxygen and blood. This results in the pain that is associated with having angina. The good news is that as soon as a person stops smoking the blood vessels will start to immediately repair themselves.
The blood vessels will almost always go back to their original capacity. If you are a smoker and experiencing angina, one of the best things that you can do for yourself is to quit smoking as soon as possible.
