5. Use Acne Treatments
Acne treatments might be useful when treating certain types of rosacea, though not all of them. That’s because acne is linked to rosacea, though the two are not necessarily caused by all the same things.
For instance, rosacea may be caused at least in part by bacteria or fungus living on the skin. These issues can potentially be treated with certain spot products that are designed to cleanse the skin and kill off throat bacteria.
On the other hand, though, some acne treatments are designed to fight blackheads and work by opening up and clearing out the pores. This can be effective in preventing certain types of acne, but will not be useful in combating rosacea, seeing as the latter isn’t caused by blackheads.
