4. Pregnancy
During pregnancy, many of the body’s functions change, including urination. Change in urine can indicate pregnancy and can alert you with your possible health issues during pregnancy. In this state, some women are experiencing an enlarged kidney resulting in bubbly or foamy urine, it is the time when women’s kidneys have to filter higher amounts of amino acids.
When the amount of amino acids is too much for the kidneys to absorb, protein usually escapes into the urine causing it to bubble. It is advised by the doctor to monitor changes in your urine and getting an appropriate urinalysis test can help keep you and your baby healthy during pregnancy.
During pregnancy, there is an overall increase in circulating blood volume and around 25% of that blood flow directly to the kidneys, which means a lot of extra fluid is processed through your kidneys and ends up in your bladder.
