4. Keeping a Diary
There are plenty of reasons why keeping a diary could be beneficial for you if you want to take care of the symptoms that are associated with Asperger’s. First, a diary allows you to keep a thorough record of your feelings and thoughts as time goes on – and you might also use this diary to record things like your symptoms and what might have made them worse or better. This information could be useful to your doctor with your next appointment, and it could also be useful to you when it comes to seeing your condition at a glance.
If you struggle to sleep or have problems with nightmares, keep a separate dream diary to record any details surrounding your dreams. This can improve dream recall, and it can help you track down any issues that you might be having with your sleep cycle – if you wake up during the night, use your dream diary to record the frequency and time.
