3. Learning Disabilities
Learning disabilities are one of the most common symptoms that people who were born with Fragile X syndrome will experience, and it can often be the symptom of the condition that leads to its diagnosis; in the majority of cases where learning difficulties are picked up at a young age, a teacher or caregiver will most often recommend that a further course of action be taken to discover what the potential causes of the learning disabilities might be.
In a lot of cases, especially when combined with some characteristic symptoms that appear on this list, it can be matched up with a case of Fragile X. If this is the case, a cure isn’t possible – but some many changes can be made to improve the quality of life, and in many cases any learning disabilities can be addressed as a separate concern, and treated accordingly for the best possible results.
