3. Sleep disturbance
Sleep, or more specifically, lack of sleep impacts every moment of your day. Are you constantly tired and irritable? Exhaustion is more than just being sleepy. It is your body’s response to not being able to rest because of an underlying condition.
The underlying condition, in this case, is back pain. The vertebrae in your spine protect the spinal cord. The spinal cord is where your nerves reside. Misalignment of the spine causes your nerves to be constantly irritated. A pinched nerve in the neck can cause your hand to feel numb. A pinched nerve in your lower back can cause intense pain down the back of your leg.
All these irritations can cause your body to get insufficient rest and lack of sleep can hurt you. How? Lack of sleep makes you grouchy. Your relationships can suffer both at home and at work. You simply aren’t as attentive to things as you should be. You are putting yourself in danger of an accident. If you address your spine issue your sleep issue will resolve itself.
