4. Supplement Your Vitamin C
Adding more vitamin C can help out a lot, and unlike some of the other solutions that are listed here, vitamin C is actually backed up by research. Studies have shown that a person that takes 2000 mg of vitamin C each day can bring down their eye pressure by a huge amount.
You can also go to your doctor and get vitamin C through an intravenous tube, and this will bring it down for a little while, but you need to take vitamin C every day if you want to lower the pressure.
These are some pretty high doses of vitamin C, so if your body is not used to it then you may want to work your way up because vitamin C can have a laxative effect otherwise. You can find vitamin C and lots of different fruits including citrus fruits or you can add a multivitamin or a specific supplement of vitamin C to your diet.
