4. Epsom salt and warm water will help relieve kidney pain.
There are two ways you can use Epsom salt and warm water. The first one is by taking a bath in it. Take a bath in it for 20 to 30 minutes. Once the water becomes cool, add more warm water.
Another way you can ease the pain is by placing the Epsom salt and warm water in a large bowl. Dip a washcloth into the bowl and use it as a warm compress. Place it against the side of your body where you’re experiencing kidney pain. You may have to do this a few times a day.
When you buy Epsom salt, use the original formula instead of the scented. If you don’t have Epsom salt, you can use table salt. You’ll need to use a lot for a bath, especially if you plan on taking a warm bath more than once a day in it.
