4. Bacterial Infections
E. coli is a bacteria that is most often associated with food poisoning. Leptospirosis is an infection that is often caused by certain animals. There are other bacteria that may enter the body as well and cause us to become sick. Once again, when a foreign bacteria enters the body the first response of the body is to create antibodies in order to kill off the infectious bacteria.
When the body creates antiphospholipid antibodies they do not do the job that they are supposed to. They instead attack the good protein in the body. This can cause many different health issues and can cause a person to become even more ill from the infectious bacteria that have entered the body.
On top of that, a person may develop serious blood clots that can hinder their recovery. A severe bacterial infection can cause antiphospholipid syndrome to occur and increases the risk of other diseases developing.
