3. Unexplained Weight Loss
If you have unexplained weight loss, then you may want to look for signs of an infection or something else wrong. There can be several contributing factors to unexplained weight loss. For example, you might have lost simply because you are suffering from a regular cold or flu that is making you not want to eat.
But it could just as easily be Valley Fever which is another type of infection to reduce your appetite. Although unexplained weight loss is a usually something that can be explained away, if you experience it in the initial stages of Valley Fever, along with other symptoms listed here, then you may want to take it seriously and get tested anyway.
