3. Headaches
Headaches should be one of the first signs that something is wrong with your health, and there are a thousand different things that can be the cause behind your headaches – but if they continue in spite of attempts at treatment, make an appointment with your doctor in order to track down the cause before you end up doing more harm to your health.
Headaches that can be combined with any of the other symptoms on this list and together with any potential exposure to the poliovirus should always be taken seriously and could be potential signs and symptoms of having developed the condition.
If you are experiencing chronic headaches that aren’t going away and seem to be resisting all forms of treatment you’ve thrown at it so far, consider an appointment with your doctor: Even when it’s not polio, at least you’ll be able to adequately treat the cause.
