4. Avoiding alcohol
It goes without saying that absolutely anyone could benefit from making a change to their lifestyle that included limiting the amount of alcohol they drink, and the same is true for people living with dyskinesia.
In the same way that the low protein diet has to be considered though, the research surrounding avoiding alcohol as a natural way to treat this condition is based on people who both take the medication as prescribed by their doctor and drink alcohol on a semi-regular basis.
Avoiding alcohol is something that most people find difficult to imagine, but if more research were available to show the effectiveness that this could have in terms of naturally treating people with dyskinesia, then perhaps there would be a wider acceptance of this method and a bigger uptake on people giving it a real go.
Of course, the benefits of drinking alcohol socially and psychologically, however superficial these may be, have to be taken into consideration as well.
