4. Turmeric
You may want to try turmeric as it is one of the herbal supplements out there that actually has some scientific research backing it up against the Staphylococcus infection. The Journal of Tropical Medicine recently showed in a study that turmeric has powerful antibacterial effects against Staphylococcus. However, there is more research that needs to be done before this can be fully understood.
But while scientists do their research, you can use it to reduce inflammation and itching from your sores and lesions. The best way to do this makes a few teaspoons of ground turmeric with a few tablespoons of coconut oil and then use a Q-tip or some other device to apply directly to the affected areas. You can then cover the area with a bandage to keep in the turmeric and avoid staining your clothing. You do this daily until the bacterial infection has been healed.
