4. Avoid Smells that Make You Feel Nauseous
Some women who are dealing with the onset of morning sickness may find certain smells repulsive, and far more likely to cause symptoms of nausea or morning sickness. It’s best to keep your distance from any environmental trigger that makes it set off your symptoms of nausea. Some of the typical smells associated with nausea in pregnant women include; strong perfumes, cigarette smoke, and the smell of some foods cooking on the stove.
If you find that you have trouble with cooking, then ask your partner to do it for you while you sit outside. Remember to air out the house properly before eating at the dinner table. If you don’t have a partner, then consider hiring a day nurse or housekeeper to help you with these duties.
This symptom of smell aversion may come and go from day-to-day, and you may not always experience the same inversion reaction to some foods.
