5. Legumes
Beans and other legumes often will cause a person to be more gassy than usual. Also, if you eat a lot of legumes, you may find that your stomach will make loud noises after. If the body cannot properly digest the carbs found in beans, gas will then build up in the digestive tract. If you do not pass the gas through flatulence or by belching, your stomach will start to gurgle and rumble.
In some cases, you may experience cramping and other pain throughout your abdominal area. Legumes can be rough on the digestive tract, even though they are healthy to eat and should be a part of your regular diet. If you struggle after eating any type of legumes, you may want to cut back on them for a while or try to eat smaller servings of them when you do have them in your meal plan.
