Most people don’t think of lavender as a herb at all, but instead prefer to use lavender as an ornamental plant to add some colour to their garden or flower arrangement; but once you get past all of that, then you can start using the benefits of lavender to add flavour and excitement to your cooking, whether we’re talking about a savoury dish or a sweet dessert that’s in need of some extra inspiration.
It’s important to mention that only some types of lavender can be eaten, and the types that can’t will likely just taste bitter to you instead.
