3. Sports injuries cause Clavicle Fractures.
This can happen on the rink, court, or field. When people play sports, they play hard. They don’t consider that an injury could occur. Sometimes when a sports injury occurs, the player may not say anything, especially if the pain isn’t excruciating. They will continue to play until the pain becomes too much to bear. Since the player waited too long to say anything about the injury, it may have become severe.
The only way to get relief is through surgery. Once the surgery is completed, the player may have to wait six to eight weeks to play their sport again. The arm will be in a sling during that time. The player shouldn’t move the shoulder unless the physical therapist tells him or her to. By trying to move the shoulder to get it to heal faster, it will take longer for it to heal.
