4. The Wrong Stretch
Doing the wrong stretch, or doing the right stretch the wrong way in can definitely have an impact on whether or not you sustain this injury. Your instructor should be flexible enough to be able to perform all the stretches that he or she is teaching you, as well as fast enough mentally to determine when there is a problem and stop the class immediately.
If you sustain this kind of injury, then you’re going to want to get help right away with it. The recovery period may seem long, but it will only get longer if you exacerbate the condition by not getting treatment.
