Magnesium quiets down the excitatory NMDA receptor. Without it, calcium and glutamate initiate NMDA, which can prompt sadness and tension. You will notice that people who have low levels of magnesium seem sad or anxious all of the time. It may not be a genetic. It should cause alarm you if you have been happy before and now you’re sad and anxious. Sometimes a person will decide to use drugs or alcoholic beverages to make them feel upbeat.
The only thing a person needs to do is seek help from their medical doctor. It’s better to go to the doctor than trying to get happy on your own. Your doctor will more than likely ask you a series of questions and give you a blood test. Once the test comes back, the doctor will tell you that have low magnesium levels. The doctor will tell you what foods you need to eat or choose to take a magnesium supplement.
