5. Lymphedema
Lymphedema is a common symptom that’s seen in a lot of NS cases; while lymphedema is the most common term for the disorder, it’s better described by the unnatural and repetitive swelling of the lymph nodes, which are the nodes that run along the neck and through to under the shoulders; the line of lymph nodes continues along the same line throughout the body, and it’s likely that any lymphedema-swelling will occur directly on this line of nodes.
Lymphedema is usually easy to treat with adaptations to a healthy diet combined with the right prescribed medication for the condition, and many people have found that heat and cold can bring some relief to the swelling in extreme cases that would normally have caused a considerable amount of pain and discomfort.
Because of the higher risk of developing certain types of cancers, signs of lymphedema should always warrant a doctor’s appointment.
