5 Are Dental Implants Better Than Dentures?
For some, a dental implant will be too invasive and too painful. This is particularly true for the elderly, for those that can’t afford expensive cosmetic dentistry, and for those whose mouths are still growing. In any of these cases, dentures might be more appropriate.
But there are of course limitations. Dentures need to be removed from the mouth for instance, and you won’t be able to eat certain foods with them. They also won’t help to rebuild the structure of the mouth, to prevent future tooth loss, or to reduce the appearance of wrinkles around the mouth.
