4. Get Adequate Sleep
In an age and time where getting enough sleep is often the last thing on anyone’s mind, someone who suffers from cluster headaches might want to buck the trend and tuck themselves up nice and early.
A lack of sleep is often worn like a badge of honor these days as if needing caffeine and energy drinks just to function is something to be proud of. This has led to people with underlying medical conditions or illnesses experiencing episodes and relapses on a monumental scale.
Pretty much any illness or condition is going to be amplified and felt on a much more ferocious scale when it is entered into on the back of a bad night’s sleep. The better the routine is at bedtime, the better the following night’s sleep will be.
Avoid caffeine, avoid bright and unnatural lights and just try to relax. Your cluster headache free self will thank you later.
