3. Brushing too Hard
It is important to make sure that you are brushing your teeth on a regular basis. If you are not brushing regularly, you are more likely to develop stomatitis. This is because not brushing allows bacteria and other germs to build up in your mouth, which can lead to infections and other diseases. When you are brushing your teeth many people think that they need to use a hard bristle brush and really scrub. This is really not the case. You should use gentle circular strokes when you are brushing. A soft-bristled toothbrush is the best choice. You should brush your teeth at least twice each day, especially if you have stomatitis. If you are not brushing because of the soreness in your mouth, it could cause other issues to develop. It can be difficult to brush with a canker sore, but you should just be careful around the area that is sore and make sure that you are still getting your teeth and mouth clean.
