2. Burns
Burns can cause blisters to form. When you touch a hot stove or steam from a pan, blisters will more than likely form. Sometimes when you’re cooking, you might accidentally touch the handle of a hot pan. It will burn for a few seconds and later on you will notice a small blister starting to form. You will be tempted to pop it since it’s so small, but even if it’s small, it can cause an infection.
It’s always a good idea to wear protective gloves when you’re cooking to prevent from getting blisters from touching something hot. You may not feel like you’re cooking if you’re not working with your bare hands, but you need your hands in order to cook. If they get too blistery, you won’t be able to cook for a while. Once you notice a blister on your hand, put some ointment on it, such as aloe vera gel or tea tree oil.
