Of course, we should also stop at some point in this article to point out to you that the increase of your heart rate isn’t always a bad thing – and that it’s a desired effect for many people a lot of the time. Are you feeling a little confused? Let’s explain that first: Exercise is basically a way to get the heart rate to go up, especially when we’re talking about cardio exercise.
This is, assuming that you have a healthy heart to begin with, one of the ways to build and exercise the heart – this keeps it healthy, especially because the heart is no more than another muscle of the body that should be exercised just like any other. But you should always approach exercise with a healthy level of caution, especially if you have heart palpitations or chest pain when you are not exercising. Always take it slow!
