3. Warm Compress
Typically, staphylococcus aureus will cause a boil that is filled with pus to appear on your skin. One of the ways to help drain this boil is to apply a warm compress onto the area of the skin that is infected. You will simply want to wet a washcloth with some warm water. Press the warm cloth to the boil and hold it there for at least twenty minutes and up to 30 minutes.
You should continue to do this three or four times a day. This can help release the pus from the boil. When the boil has drained, make sure that you use a clean bandage to cover it. This will absorb some of the pus and also will help to protect your skin. Make sure that you wash the area with a quality antibacterial soap to help prevent the infection from spreading.
