5. Green leaves
This is another category where many different aliments can fit. Perhaps some of the most widely known greens are kale and lettuce, but any eatable green leaf will do the job just fine. What makes leaves green is a natural component of many plants called chlorophyll. This substance not only gives plants their characteristic green colour, but also is responsible for creating many of the nutrients the plant needs by reacting to the sunlight and using its energy to transform basic molecules into sugar and other heavier molecules.
What is great about chlorophyll is that it has the ability to absorb environmental toxins that could be roaming free in your bloodstream, and even neturalize them to prevent them from damaging your body. If you are currently dealing with polycystic ovarian syndrome, your body can use any detox aid that it gets, and green leaves are fantastic for the job.
