2. Nose Blowing
Nose blowing is not just something you have to do in order to prevent yourself from making a mess everywhere, it’s actually a great way to speed up recovery and ease your symptoms. That’s because it helps you to clear out the mucus and phlegm that builds up during a cold. This is essentially your body’s way of expelling harmful agents and, of course, you don’t want those hanging around! The correct way to blow your nose is to open your mouth just slightly and close your eyes, then blow one nostril at a time, holding the other one closed in order to exert more focused pressure.
