2. Ice massage
An ice massage can be good for relieving all kinds of pain and the foot pain caused by this disorder is no different. Ice helps fight inflammation and soothes the pain for a range of aches and pains and is the ideal treatment to help offer temporary relief. It is common in professional sports and athletics for individuals to take ice baths after exercise, such as the advantage of this type of treatment.
Whilst most people could benefit from an occasional ice bath, a person looking to feel the benefits does not necessarily have to submerge their full body in the icy water.
To help soothe pain in the feet, a bowl of water filled with ice cubes is sufficient. It is recommended that the feet are kept in the ice water for about 15 to 20 minutes and that this treatment is repeated up to four times a day.
