2. Small Movements
The nice part about exercising to deal with RLS is that you don’t even have to set aside a time for some specific exercises. If your symptoms are just starting or are relatively mild, there are some small movements you can make throughout the day to help you towards sleeping soundly with a normal leg at night!
You can conduct these exercises even when doing everyday chores. One of the small exercises is simply bouncing on your heels. This should be comprised of small, rhythmic movements for best results. You may also try lifting one leg and shaking it, then doing the same with the other.
Try marching in place, first with just your toes, then with just your heels. You can finish off by marching regularly with both feet on the ground. If you’re sitting, you can pat and tap all along your legs while keeping the palms open.
