2. Gallbladder Disorders
Another reason that you might be seeing stool that is another color besides the normal brown is because of your gallbladder. If your gallbladder is not working properly, there is a good chance that you are having bouts of diarrhea and possibly other times when you cannot seem to poop at all. When you have diarrhea, there is a good chance that it is yellow in color. When the ducts of the gallbladder become clogged by sludge or even by gallstones, it does not allow as much bile to enter your stool. When there is less bile in your stool, it can cause it to look more yellow in color. When you have gallstones you will likely not only experience stool that is lighter in color but pain as well. You might notice cramping or pains in your side. If you are experiencing these symptoms it is a good idea to discuss this with your doctor.
