2. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice is a great way to treat a sore throat and also help fight off infections. Most sore throats are caused by a bacterial or viral infection. Lemon juice contains Vitamin C, which can help boost the immune system and make you less likely to get sick or contract an illness that can cause a burning throat.
Some people find lemon juice a little too strong to drink on its own, but others like the flavor. You can add honey to the lemon juice to sweeten it, or mix it with water to make the lemon flavor a little weaker. If you don’t want to drink the lemon juice, you can add salt and pepper to a piece of lemon and lick it to get the same effects.
You can do this up to three times a day or until your throat starts to feel better. You can also drink the lemon juice weekly to help fight off colds and illnesses.
