3. Sinus Stretch
If you have a blocked sinus, and you’re experiencing the onset of a sinus headache, try this stretch to open your sinus and drain away and mucus that’s causing the issue.
Using your left index finger, pull on the lower right side of your nose. For this part of the stretch, its vital that you pull on the soft, flexible cartilage below the bridge of your nose. Take your right thumb and press it into the cheek below the orbital bone, pushing away toward your ear. Hold this position for a few seconds, then release and do the same with the other side.
You should notice the effects of this stretch immediately, and your sinus will start to drain away any excess mucus blocking things up. You’ll see a slight tension in the underside of your orbital bone, and the symptoms of your sinus headache will begin to fade away. It’s safe to repeat this treatment as often as you like.
