14 Natural Remedies That Help Fight Fibroadenoma

A lump in the breast: it is every woman’s worst fear. The moment you discover one, thoughts of cancer come rushing through your head. It’s natural to feel panicked, but before you do, take a deep breath because fortunately, not all breast lumps are cancerous; in fact, the majority of them are benign.

Fibroadenomas are among the most common lumps that form within the breast tissue. These non-cancerous lumps feel hard to the touch, have a well-defined shape, and usually do not cause any pain. These lumps can vary in size and they can grow and shrink on their own accord. Women between the ages of 15 and 35 are the most prone to fibroadenomas.

If you have been diagnosed with a fibroadenoma, here is a look at eight commonly used natural and effective methods of treatment that do not require invasive procedures, such as needle aspirations or surgery.

1. Self-monitoring.

Depending on the nature of your fibroadenoma, your doctor may recommend a “watch and wait” approach to treatment. These masses often do not cause any complications and they can shrink on their own accord. If your lump is not causing any problems, self-monitoring may be the best approach to treatment, as it is a non-invasive way to handle these benign tumors.

Routine self-assessments will allow you to identify any changes to the lump and the affected breast. While lying down, use the opposite hand of the affected area to examine the lump. Take note of the size and texture of the lump. If you notice that it is smaller than it was initially than it’s likely shrinking on its own; however if it appears larger, you should speak with your medical professional as soon as possible. Additionally, you may want to employ some of the following strategies.
