A femur fracture occurs when there is a crack, break, or crush of the thigh bone. It can also be called a hip fracture or broken hip, especially if the injury is in the upper area of the hip. Most of the things that you will need for the home remedies can be found in your cupboard. If you need to buy something, it is a small cost. It is nothing that will break the bank. Even though you can treat a femur fracture at home, you should still go to the doctor to make sure it’s nothing serious.

Once you get home, you can start the process of healing the fracture, so you can get back to doing your normal daily activities. Here are eight home remedies to relieve femur fracture.

1. Rest is a home remedy that needs to be done to relieve femur fracture.

Rest means that you need to stop any activity that you’re doing for at least 24 to 48 hours. Others say to rest for a week to see how the femur fracture. If it is still giving you problems, continue to rest. It may be tempting to try out the force yourself to get better, but you’ll make the injury worse. In order to be certain that you don’t put any pressure on the fracture, you should use crutches or a wheelchair.

When you need to get up to do something, like taking a shower or sitting in a chair, ask for assistance. If you take your time, you won’t feel as much pain when you sit down. Even in the wheelchair, you’ll need assistance. It may be frustrating at first, but that’s the only way to heal the fracture.
