Here are some examples of the types of exercises you might want to try with your feet because after all, exercise is the best medicine. For a start, you could try and use your toes as fingers, by picking objects up with a curling technique before moving the items from one place to another.
You could also try and do some standing heel raises, which are a great way to give your feet a really thorough stretch. You could try to do some ankle pumps by moving your feet and up and down or you could also mobilize the ankles by simply performing some rotations. A slightly more painful but just as productive exercise would be to roll the bottom of your foot with a hard ball such as a golf ball.
