3. Chamomile Tea
Chamomile has long been used as a home remedy for all kinds of disease — both physical and mental — and has even become a staple of anxiety relief remedies. The chamomile flower holds potent antiseptic properties which is why it’s so effective at minimizing the inflammation that comes with gum recession and gum disease.
If you want to get the best results out of this treatment, be sure to follow these instructions to the t. Pour some hot water into a medium-sized cup and then add two or three teaspoons of chamomile tea mix. The exact amount is different for each person so you’ll need to do some experimenting if you hope to find your ideal volume of tea mix.
Let the mix sit in your mouth for 10 minutes or so until it cools down. It is advised that you do this at least three times a day and continue the treatment until all symptoms have subsided.
