8. Lichen Planus
Lichen Planus can affect the skin as well as the mucous membranes found all over the body. This is a skin disease that has many symptoms. The main symptom of Lichen Planus is a rash that appears on the body. The rash is shiny and is raised. This rash will often become very itchy. There may also be bumps that appear on the skin. These bumps can be either purple or pink in color.
A person with lichen planus may also have scaly patches on the skin. A rash may appear in the mouth and ulcers within the mouth may also occur. There could be blue areas that appear in the mouth and on your cheeks and tongue. Lichen planus may also cause a person to develop the rash and the itching in the vaginal or penile areas. It is important to have this skin disease treated.
