There are thousands of allergens all around you, and people who are especially prone to allergies like pollen will know this already. For people who also happen to have been diagnosed with asthma at the same time, what would be a simple allergic reaction with a blocked nose for anyone else can quickly turn into a dangerous asthma attack. If this is the case, then you should learn to avoid any exposure to allergens if you have been able to identify the source of the allergen.

Antihistamines that are available over-the-counter can also be a huge help when you are trying to avoid allergens and counter the effects that lead to an asthma attack.
